Governor Radda Enhances Well-being with Borehole Projects in Matazu

In a collaborative effort with international philanthropic organizations, Governor Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda has commissioned 35 borehole projects in Matazu local government area, Katsina State. Supported by Turkey-based Amir Sultan and Sudan's Munazamat Ad-daawal Islamiyya, the initiative aims to improve the well-being of the populace.
Expressing gratitude for the growing interest of humanitarian organizations in Katsina State, Governor Radda credited the projects to his wife's initiative. He emphasized the need for proper borehole maintenance, directing the local government chairman to ensure the benefit of surrounding communities.
Additionally, a generous distribution of one thousand copies of the Holy Quran took place during the commissioning ceremony. Governor Radda highlighted that this effort, along with plans for an Islamic and Quranic memorization center, aims to positively impact the region's educational landscape.
Concluding the event, Governor Radda presented cash donations from his wife to local Islamic sects, fostering community support. Mufti Mustapha and Mufti Ahmad, representing Amir Sultan of Turkey, appreciated the state government's cooperation, affirming plans to drill over thirty boreholes in the state.
Mufty Mustapha shared the organization's successful track record in Senegal and Chad, emphasizing their commitment to water projects, feeding programs, and Quran distribution over the past fifteen years.
Dr. Shamsu Mohamed Sayaya, Chairman of Matazu local government, stressed the invaluable importance of water in his welcome address, expressing gratitude for Governor Radda's physical presence at the ceremony. Isma'ila Matazu, representing the Sudan-based organization, highlighted collaborative efforts beyond boreholes and Quran distribution, with plans to construct a center for Islamic and Quranic memorization.
This collaborative endeavor signifies a significant step in providing essential services to the people of Katsina State and fostering cooperation between international philanthropic organizations.
